Programme Description

Offers a curriculum which is designed to give student a through understanding of the basic laws of science and to simultaneously stimulate and develop innovative thinking, professional attitude, economic judgement, and environment consciousness. Prepare graduates who possess a command of engineering knowledge and hands-on skills required to undertake supervision of a team and troubleshooting in both operation and maintenance. Students are required to attach in industry to apply theory into the real engineering problem.

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHT

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

SPM with a minimum of THREE (3) credits in Math & Science and 1 other subject or its equivalent AND passed English subject OR
STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject or its equivalent OR
STAM with a minimum grade of Maqbul or its equivalent OR
SKM (Level 3, MQF) in related fields with minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent
UEC with a minimum of Grade B for THREE (3) subjects and passed English subject

Demonstrate the ability to apply technical skills in real-world scenarios through hands-on projects and industrial training.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in teams, collaborating with designers, developers, and other professionals to complete projects efficiently and creatively.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

The program prepares graduates for employment within a multitude of organizations that operates in manufacturing industries in the capacity of maintenance technicians, engineering technicians, industrial programmers, field service engineers, sales engineers, and various high technology employment opportunities in automated manufacturing. Most of students graduated are working in manufacturing industries, oil and gas industries, automotive industries, consultation, and other industries. Salary Range in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, oil and gas, and consultancy and others is RM 1500 – RM 2200.
