• Pass the Malaysian Higher Education Certificate (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and pass at least 2 subjects, one of which is a subject related to Islamic Studies, OR
• Passed in a qualification equivalent to STPM or A-Level, provided the candidate passes at least one Islamic Studies subject OR
• A recognized Matriculation or Foundation qualification in Islamic Studies with a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 OR
• Passed with a maqbūl grade in the Higher Religious Certificate of Malaysia (STAM); OR A recognized Islamic Studies Diploma or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.00.
